These are 2 Important Documents You Should Have Before Pursuing Your Academic Journey in the University.
Asides your West African Examinations Council Result, Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board Results, and your Post Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations Result, there are two other important documents that you should make available before pursuing your university admission process. Every university, be it state or federal does ask of these documents and it is a compulsory criterion before being matriculated into a particular university. At this juncture, the two documents are as follows:
The Local Government Identification Letter:
Stating your origin or the place you come from is not fully a proof that you actually come from that place. The school truly wants to know if you are a true descendant of that local government that you said you come from. And to ascertain this, they would surely request for a local government identification letter.
Now, this letter is gotten from the local government you come from, and it could take days, and sometimes weeks to get this letter. It all depends on the administration of the local government you come from and the distance it takes to get to that place. Therefore, It is important to have it now so that you would not have to waste any time when you are asked to provide it for the smooth running of the admission process.
Your Birth Certificate:
No one can truly know your age by merely looking at you. And no one may truly know if what a person has written or said to be his or her age is correct. So, to ensure transparency, and compliance with the university' s age limit for admission, the birth certificate of the student seeking the admission is required.
This certificate can be gotten from the hospital where the person was born. It is mostly the parents of the student that do go to fetch this certificate because they themselves do really know where they gave birth to their child. Depending on the hospital, this certificate can take some time to file out. So, to avoid any unnecessary wasting of time, it is pertinent that you get it ready before beginning the admission process.
