This claim was made known to the public in a pust he shared about the thanksgiving service at the Kenyan stadium, and it got a lot of reactions online.

"Today, I joined H.E President William Samoei Ruto, the clergy, leaders and tens of faithful from various denominations for a thanks giving service at the Kerugoya Stadium, Kirinyaga County. It was a moment to thank God for the win of Kenya Kwanza in the 2022 General Election and also appreciate Kenyans for supporting our bid to lead this country. We will keep our promise to the people of Kenya as outlined in the Kenya Kwanza Plan." - Wrote the Deputy president.

He also wrote the following down:

"For the few months we have been in office, we have set the pace of working towards meeting the demands of Kenyans."

"H.E President Ruto has instructed me to lead reforms in the tea, coffee and milk subsectors. This is aimed at putting more money in the pockets of farmers by linking them directly to consumers. The cartels are ruthless, but we will stop at nothing to uproot them to give way for maximum value for our farmers."

"Already, through Parliament, we are working to incorporate tea reforms into the Coffee Reforms Caucus. Indeed, leaders from across the political divide are with us and we commit to sweep clean the cartels in the coffee, milk and tea subsectors."

"We will not give room to those working to distract the Ruto Administration through demonstrations and other forms of threats."

"My role as Deputy President is to support President Ruto to deliver on his mandate to the people of Kenya. We cannot bow down to threats, distractions and intimidation from anti-development forces."

"Elections are behind us. We will strive to unite all Kenyans and stabilise the economy. It is time to work."

"In this regard, we will continue mobilising resources to implement The Plan to create more opportunities for all Kenyans to enable them improve their lives through hard work. God Bless Kenya."
