Things You Should Consider Before Choosing a Group in the University.

Right from the origin, the university was not only made for learning and studying but it was also made for other fun and useful extra- curricular activities. This is one of the pertinent reasons why there are seemingly various groups that help to promote these extra- curricular activities of an issue.

You could find nice groups where the fully registered students sing nice and lovely songs. You could also find other groups where students participate in constructive debating activities, play a friendly basket ball game, and even deliberate on striking and important issues concerning their tribes and culture.

All these are activities carried out by these unique groups in question. However, it is still important that you critically look out for these three things before joining any one of them in the university. Safety on campus– the major goal behind this article, is very important and as such, every of your activity should be aimed towards achieving that goal. Without further ado, the things you should look out for before joining any group in the university are:

Full Approval By The School' s Authority:

Every group you should join or probably have joined must be fully approved by the sitting school authority. If there is anything far less or little less than this fact, then it is truly better not to join that group at all. The school authority must have full knowledge of the kind of activities that do go on in that group, and they should be fully comfortable with it, knowing that it is done to the best interest of the students and not to their swift harm and danger.

You can know a lot about the approval status of any group in your university by asking questions about it from the right people. These right people whom you can go with this complaint are the student/staff advisers, some lecturers (particularly the ones who have stayed for a longer time in the university), the head of your department, and many more.

Knowing the true approval status of the group you are planning to explore would truly prevent you from any future consequences of illegal groups operating in the school environment without the knowledge of the school authority. You could be truly saving yourself the trouble of suspension from school and other bad auras that may come as a result of joining an illegal group on campus.

You cannot truly know if a group is approved by the school or not. Therefore, it is important that you do not intentionally guess the accuracy of approval of this group and further dive into them. As it has been written before so would it be written again; ask questions so that it would be fully clear and open to you the nature of that group you are planning on joining.

Your Inborn Talent:

Another striking factor you should consider when choosing or joining a group in your inborn talent. Sincerely speaking, any group that does not promote your talent should not see your shadow not to talk more of having you in it.

Your inborn talent is that thing that would make you stand out of the crowd, and hence be favored among many. Following people and joining groups that would help you develop that talent is a bonus as it would help bring the glow out faster.

Joining a group that does not promote your talent would surely suffer that unique talent of yours. The reason behind this fact is that the useful time that would have been used to continue to explore your talent would now be put into things that do not really matter and this would leave your talent buried or the harnessing of it slower than expected.

If this happens and eventually continues, the person could waste majority of his or her precious time and have barely little or totally nothing to show for it. This eventually would lead to deep regret, and sorrowful words of " had I known" in the future if caution is not taken immediately. Therefore, I am advising that anyone who wishes to join a group should consider if the group fully helps his or her talents or not before seeking out to be a part of it.

People' s Review About the Group In The University:

A group being approved is not just enough. You still need to know what the people who have encountered that group before think of it. This is very important because a group could be legal in the eyes of the school and still do bad things without the knowledge of the school. People who may have seen those bad things may be afraid of reporting, maybe because of threats and lots more.

Therefore, it would be truly wise if you seek out the relevant experiences of your higher colleagues, fellow students, non academic staff, and even some friendly lecturers when it comes getting the people' s review about the group you wish to join.

If majority of the people you have asked said it' s okay (Ideally eighty percent of the crowd), then you may follow if your gut agrees with it also. But if majority of the people you have asked said it' s not, then I advise that you run as far away from it as possible to avoid any trouble on campus.
