  The governor of Lagos State, His Excellency Babajide Sanwo-Olu did share a post where he commissioned the eighteen kilometers and seventy-five meters expressway leading from Eleko to Ekpe T-junction in Lagos state. "Today, we commissioned the new eighteen kilometer and seventy-five meters expressway from Eleko to Epe T-Junction, turning a two-lane rural roadway to a six-lane rigid concrete carriageway." Sanwo-Olu said this construction feat marks a significant improvement in their effort to redevelop the rural road, built over forty years ago.
